콜럼비아 대학교 Columbia University 여행

 콜럼비아 대학교는 전 세계 최고 대학들 중 하나이다. 나는 최고의 대학생은 아니지만 뉴욕에서 머무를 동안 한 번 방문해야겠다고 생각해서 방문했다. Columbia University is one of the best universities in the world. I'm not the best college student, but I thought I'd visit the place while I was in New York.

 콜럼비아 대학교 어디 이상 올라가면 이런 풍경이 보이는데 학교 주변에서 딱히 볼 것은 없다. 학교 가는 길과 학교 안에는 동상, 조각상들이 많다. If you go up to Columbia University, you can see this view, but there's nothing to see around the school. There are many statues and statues on the way to school and inside the school.

 겨울 방학이라 그런지 학생들이 거의 없다. As it is winter vacation, there are few students. 

The Library Of Columbia University

 옛날 도서관은 이렇게 생겼을까. 한국 도서관은 빌딩으로 엘리베이터도 있는데 말이다. I wonder if the old library looked like this? The Korean libraries are building with elevators. 도서관에 들어가고 싶었는데 문이 닫혀있었다.  I wanted to enter the library, but the door was closed.

캠퍼스가 비교적 깔끔하다. The campus is relatively neat. 

 Columbia University; School of Engineering and Applied Science. 이런 학교 별 건물은 한국이랑 비슷한 것 같다? 정말 깔끔하다는 생각이 든다. 그리고 캠퍼스 안에서 흡연 구역을 찾지 못해서 그런가 방학이라서 그런가 담배 냄새도 덜 하고 쾌적한 환경인 것 같다.

 콜럼비아 대학교 Columbia University뿐만 아니라 많은 미국 대학교가 Christian School 이다. 그래서 신학대학원도 있고 그런가 보다. 학교 안에 Chapel도 있고 Theological Seminary 신학대학원도 있고 그런 것 같다. 바학 중에 학교를 와서 학생들도 거의 없고 건물 대부분 문을 닫아서 딱히 할 것이 없었다.

교회 안에서 무슨 행사를 하고 있었다. 티켓을 사야한다고 해서 나는 나왔다. There was an event in the church. I came out because they said I had to buy a ticket. 콜럼비아 대학교를 방문하고자 하는 사람은 학기 중에 방문하도록 하자! 방학 중에는 할 것이 정말 없다!
