Day 3: Kandy City Centre Again

To be honest, I could not enjoy traveling in Sri Lanka because I was not interested in history or language. And I do not remember the particularly delicious Sri Lankan food. There is a national park and a national garden, and the entrance fee for foreigner to the place were almost 20 times more expensive than those of Sri Lankans.

For me there were not many things to enjoy except for tasting each of Sri Lankan fruit because the fruit price in Korea is almost the most expensive in the world.

I ate coconut in Sri Lanka, but it was probably the first time except for the experience I ate in Jeju Island. Coconuts were not so expensive, I remember, but I did not eat them all and I do not want to eat again. Traveling in Asia was not so interesting because probably I am Asian. The tourists from Europe seemed enjoying their time, taking pictures here and there.

There was a mart called Keells, and I recommend buying something to eat hererather than the market because it is cleaner. And it is much better to buy at a safe price herebecause it is expensive in the market. If you buy fruit in the market, you may wonder ifthe market price is appropriate. Then, do not buy it, but just go to the mart and buy at the proper price.

Day 3: Small Village in Kandy City, Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka' Calendar

Can you sense that your country's calendar is different from that of Sri Lanka? If you have not noticed the difference between the Sri Lankan calendar and your country's calendar, I hope you will look at your calendar once more and read this article. It's just a little different, but it's different from my country's calendar so I took a picture of it.

To be honest, Sri Lanka is not a fun country to travel. Everywhere I go, people who look the same are trying to sell something to foreigners. It was okay once or twice, but it was unpleasant that Sri Lankan merchants were trying to sell things in a language I do not understand anywhere and anytime. The bigger problem is that even if I say it is okay, they anyway keep doing it.

Red Tuk Tuk

This is Tuktuk. I had first Tuk Tuk ride in Sri Lanka. When you try to catch a Tuk Tuk, you should look its appearance carefully so you can check if it has any broken parts or if its tires are okay. Because as you can see the front tire of the Tuk Tuk, its tires were badly worn as if these are going to be flat tires. There are not as many traffic lights in Sri Lanka as your country, and no seat belts in Tuk Tuk. You've got to be careful all the time.

And Never catch a Tuk Tuk on the road. Call it by Pick Me App. If you catch a Tuk Tuk on the road then a driver costs you three times more than it should be. If you use, however, the app it automatically costs you according to its algorithm.

A lof of fruit.  SALIYA FRUITS; All kind of fruits & Vegetables Suppliers. Go try here if you visit Kandy soon :)

A lot of small watermelons. I am wondering if people really buy watermelons often because these are about two hundreds and where I stayed was very small village. Sri Lanka is cheap in fruit and it is really plentiful. To be honest, I don't want to say anything about its taste.
