대한민국에 변호사는 몇명일까?

2018년 6월 기준 국내 로펌 재직 변호사가 4,500명 가까이 되는 수를 확인할 수 있다. 국내 대형 10대 로펌에 재직하는 변호사만 3,000명이 넘는다. 개인 영업 변호사, 100개가 넘는 로펌 중에 모든 변호사들만 보면 4,500명은 될 것이라는 예측이 나온다. 국내 최대 규모 로펌, 김앤장에서는 2018년 6월 기준, 과거 검사와 판사 경력을 가진 경력자들을 대거 채용한 것으로 나타났다.

현재 로스쿨에 진학하는 학생수만 1년에 2,000명이다. 1년에 변호사 시험 합격자 수는 1,500명이다.

최근에는 로스쿨 출신 변호사 시험 합격자가 변호사로서 로펌 구직활동에 실패하여 '9급 공무원 지방직 시험'에 응시하여 1차 필기시험에 합격한 것으로 나타났다. 하지만 면접 시험에 불응하여 스스로 '9급 공무원의 길'을 포기하였다.

현재 대한민국에서 가장 뜨거운 법률 조정 문제는 남녀간 성추행, 형사소송, 무고죄 민사 소송, 가족 소송, 이혼 소송 문제일 것이다. 통계청에 따르면 결혼 숫자는 아주 조금씩 감소하고 있지만, 이혼 발생숫자는 매년 급격히 증가하고 있는 추세이다. 따라서 젊은 나이 사이에 발생하는 법률 문제는 감소하였지만, 남녀간 이혼 문제, 결혼 문제, 상속 문제, 성추행, 성폭행 형사 문제, 무고죄 등이 지난 1년 부터 앞으로 2~3년은 책임질 핵심 법률 키워드라고 생각한다.

대한민국에서 변호사가 계속해서 나타나고 있음에 서로 가격 경쟁을 함에 따라 변호사 수익은 절대적으로 감소할 수 밖에 없겠지만, 변호사는 변호사다. 변호사는 의사와 같이, 정말 정직하고, 사회에 헌신할 수 있는 사람이 되어야만 하고 사회에서 없어서는 안되는 직업이다. 정직하고, 성실하고, 사회에 헌실할 수 있는 사람이 변호사가 되어줬으면 좋겠다.

How many Attorneys in South Korea?

Based on June, 2018 Statistics Korea, there are more than 4,500 people who have a lawyer certificate. Even, there are more than 3,000 lawyers who are working at the biggest ten law firms in South Korea. The statists in Korea expect that there would be more lawyers who are working at behind the big scene. Recently, 'Kim & Chang', the biggest law firm in Korea, announced that they hired more than the past year in last 6 months. The most of lawyers who got into 'Kim & Chang' had their law careers in the past. The most of them was working as national judge or prosecutor.

In 2016, the fact was revealed that a few of Law-School Graduations who even passed Bar-Exam applied for the lowest level of government employee(which used to be taken by uneducated back in the day). Law-School Graduation passed on the first examination but didn't appear on interview. He gave up to be an official by himself. Now the total capacity of Law-Schools is 2,000 a year, and the capacity of Bar-Exam is 1,500 a year. 

Currently, the hottest law issue in Korea might be the sexual problems between male and female. Since Korean Feminists came up with hilarious fake problems at the same time #me too movement began rapidly all over the Korea nation, many of not-guilty people had to sacrifice. Second to none, the hottest law problem is the sexual problems. As far as we see the problem trend in Korea, Hence, we can guess that it would run either two more years. Of course, attorneys in Korea are getting increased meanwhile overall young population is getting decreased, the unchanged fact is that attorney is the inseparable job in society. It is why people are willing to hire a competent lawyer, even if it costs much. Like a doctor, this job also requires trust, dedication to justice and honesty without doubt, I earnestly believe that there would be more competent, trustworthy and dedicated lawyers in the future.
