Why People Want To Buy Luxury and Show Off

사람들은 왜 사치품을 사고 자랑하고 싶어할까? 나도 모르겠다. 나는 자랑하는 타입의 사람이 아니어서 잘 모르겠다. 아무래도 사치품을 사고 자랑함으로써 인정도 받고 내가 이 정도 된다 라는 것을 보여주고 싶은 그런게 아닐까 싶다. 벽돌 한 개를 $499.99 산다는 것을 나는 믿을 수 없다. 내가 말하는 사치품은 단순히 비싼 물건이 아니다. 아무리 비싸더라도 그 물건이 그 가격에 맞는 값어치를 한다면 그건 나에게 사치가 아니다. 하지만 위 사진과 같이 Supreme brick 슈프림 벽돌 같이 $1 짜리 벽돌과 똑같은 기능을 한다면 사치라고 생각한다. 사치가 좋다 나쁘다 라고 말하는 건 아닌데 나의 것은 아닌게 확실하다. 그냥 그렇다. I am not a type of person who likes to brag or show off. All of sudden, a random thought flash through my mind. "Why people likes to brag what they have and show off?" The luxury what I am talking about is not just expensive stuff but expensive and unfunctional stuff. If something what I bought is expensive it works the price much perfectly then I would say it's not a luxury. However the picture I put on above is very luxury stuff. How a brick can worth $499.99 much? because it has no difference with a $1 brick. I am not a type of person who likes to brag or show off.
